Safeguarding

Welcome to Our Safeguarding Hub

At Croxteth Community Primary School, the safety and well-being of our pupils are at the heart of everything we do. Safeguarding children is our absolute priority, and we are dedicated to providing a secure, nurturing environment where every child feels safe, heard, and supported.

Our Commitment to Safety

We believe that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. To ensure the highest standards of care, we take a proactive and comprehensive approach:

  • Expertly Trained Staff: Every member of our team undergoes rigorous, regular training to identify risks and respond swiftly to any concerns.

  • A Culture of Vigilance: We foster an environment where children feel confident to speak up and where their voices are always taken seriously.

  • Robust Policies: Our procedures are constantly reviewed to meet and exceed national statutory requirements.

Working Together: Our Partners

We recognise that keeping children safe often requires a community-wide effort. We are proud to work in close collaboration with specialist partner agencies to provide a "wrap-around" support system for our families:

Partner Agency How They Support Our School
School Health Ensuring the physical and emotional wellbeing of our pupils.
The Police & Operation Encompass Supporting children who may be experiencing domestic abuse through immediate communication.
NSPCC Providing educational resources and expert guidance on child protection.
Early Help Hub Offering early intervention and practical support for families when challenges arise.
