International Women’s Day

Rosa Parks was a black woman who played an important part in the American Civil Rights movement. She made changes to make life fair for black and white people in America. She did this by refusing to give up her seat on the bus! This resulted in her being arrested and sparked movements for change in American Law.

In class we researched Rosa Parks and made these fantastic posters! We then shared them in assembly, telling other year groups about what we had learnt.
